Itinerary

1 Hanoi

Vietnam welcomes you!

Your travels begin at Hanoi. A great place to explore on foot, this French-colonial city is also known for its delectable cuisine, vibrant nightlife, silks and handicrafts, as well as a multi-cultural community that's made up of Chinese, French and Russian influences.

As you land at the Noi Bai Airport, you are greeted by your very own Ecohunter’s guide who will guide you to your hotel, to freshen up.

You are then escorted to witness the solemn Ho Chi Minh complex, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; his house-on-stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda, built of wood on a single stone pillar. The Pagoda is designed to resemble a lotus blossom, the symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow.

Post your visit to the historic sites in Hanoi, enjoy an hour long cyclo ride around the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. A treat to your senses, the lake is a popular spot for local residents to practise Tai-Chi on the shore. Sunset is a lovely time to explore the lake too, and can make for some sublime photographs as the sun sets.
