1 Arrival at Gwalior

Welcome to Gwalior!

On arriving at the Gwalior airport/railway station, a private vehicle will drive you to your hotel. Freshen-up and relax for the day.

The evening calls for a visit to the majestic Gwalior fort to experience a 45 minute Sound and Light show which highlights the history of Gwalior.

We spend the entirety of today doing some sightseeing of Gwalior. Some of our stops include the Gwalior Fort, the Man Singh Palace and Gurjari Mahal. We also visit Ghaus Mohammed's Tomb, Tansen's Tomb, Sarod Ghar, the Sun Temple and the Jai Vilas Palace and Museum.

The evening is spent touring the city at your leisure and shopping for local handicrafts, clothes and souvenirs.

We pack up and leave for the town of Orchha, situated on the banks of the Betwa river, after some breakfast. After relaxing at the accommodation, embark on a sightseeing tour of the city. Navigate through its palaces, temples, monuments and fort complex.

Some of the spots we visit are the fort complex, the Raja Ram Temple - the only temple where Lord Ram is worshipped both as a God & as a King, The Laxmi Narayan temple, the Jahangir Mahal, built in Honour of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir and the much-acclaimed Chhatris.
