  • Vegetarian food will be served throughout the trek. Breakfast varies from bread and butter, semia, poha and cornflakes etc. Lunch mainly comprises of roti or puri with sabzi. Dinner is complete with Dal, rice, roti and dessert. Dry ration of biscuits and toffees will be provided as well. You may carry nuts and dry fruits if necessary.

  • All campsites have concrete toilets.

  • A team consisting of a qualified Trek leader, trek guides, porters and cooks will be with you throughout the trek.

  • Shops at base camp from where you can rent shoes, jackets and trek poles, headlights etc. (Inform us in advance if you want to rent something from base camp.)

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Haridwar - Joshimath

Arrive early at Haridwar railway station (6:30am) and drive to Joshimath (transportation included) which will take approximately 9 to 10 hours. The drive from Haridwar to Joshimath is a beautiful one. The route passes through many mesmerizing views and goes along hugging the mountain side . You see the forests and valleys of Garhwal below you. We will also be passing by the Panchprayag or the five holy confluences of Ganga - Devaprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag, and Vishnuprayag. Breakfast and Lunch will be on the way at a roadside inn, exclusive of charges.
Day 02

Joshimath - Govindghat - Ghangaria Trek

After an early breakfast we will head off to Govindghat which is around 22 km from Joshimath (Altitude 1828 Mt). We start trekking to reach Ghangaria (3049 Mt / 14 km Trek) with packed lunch. Ghangaria is also known as GOVIND DHAM, it is the base camp for visiting Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers. Overnight: Guest House at Ghangaria
Day 03

Ghangaria - Hemkund - Ghangaria

We start early to reach "HEMKUND SAHIB" (11 Km ). One of the most revered of all Sikh Shrines, The Hemkund Sahib, the World’s Highest Gurudwara, is situated at an altitude of 4,329 mt. . In the afternoon we trek down to reach Ghangaria for overnight stay. Evening is free for rest & relaxation.
Day 04

Ghangaria - Valley of Flower - Ghangaria

Today we will trek to the Valley of Flowers. The whole valley is dotted with varieties of exotic flowers like Blue Poppy, Snake Foil, White Leaf Hog Foot, Himalayan Rose, Meadow Geranium, Dog Flower, Hooked Stick Seed, and River Anemone and other flora. The Valley is 6-7 km long, ends with awesome views of surrounding Tipra glacier. Return to Ghangaria for overnight stay in Guest House.
Day 05

Ghangaria - Govindghat - Joshimath

We start for the 14 Km return trek to Govindghat and then drive to Joshimath. Overnight: Guest House at Joshimath
Day 06

Joshimath- Haridwar.

You will start off on an early morning ride down hill to Haridwar; Rishikesh-Haridwar will be reached at sundown, around 6 in the evening. Breakfast and Lunch will be on the way at a roadside inn, exclusive of charges.
