The hill capital, venue of the annual Perahera, Kandy , is an example of the Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple's shrines and monasteries keeping Buddhist traditions alive are everywhere.

In the 4th Century A.D, the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from enemy hands in an Orissan princess' hair, this Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession. Post a visit to the sacred tooth relic we will visit the magnificent Royal Botanical Gardens which from 1374. Spice garden and orchid house are the most sought after with travellers.

We leave for the coastal town of Bentota from Kandy. Bentota is a pristine coast line dotted with cafes , sandy beaches , coral reefs and rich dive sites. Once we arrive at Bentota explore this upmarket location, spend your day at the beach , indulge in water based activities. The Bentota beach one of the top 100 beaches on the world !

After a sumptuous breakfast we proceed towards at Colombo, Enroute we have a number of experiences to indulge in depending ion the travellers choice. We can do the mangrove boat ride on the Madu river , visit a sea turtle farm and hatchery . Once we arrive in Colombo we drive through the city's commercial as well as tree lined residential neighbourhoods to give you an idea of how people live and work. Over places we will explore are the Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749.

We will also visit the BMICH to see the replica of Avukana Buddha and Independence Square, Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum, Twin World Trade Centre Towers, Old Parliament and Gangarama temple.

After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel , we check out and depart for the airport for our scheduled departure.
