The hill capital, venue of the annual Perahera.The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple's shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere.
Arrive by (flt no) at (00hrs). Please clear immigration & visa formalities, and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel if you do not have goods to be declared to customs. Our Representative will page you by your name. Thereafter you will be assisted to the Car park to begin you journey. We Proceed to Kandy via Pinnawala elephant orphanage. PINNAWALA ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE: App. 55 miles from Colombo, off the Colombo – Kandy road is Pinnawela, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 65 now; including Baby Elephants brought from various parts, as well as some of the more than 25 babies born, as a result of the captive breeding program. The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930-1000 hrs and 1330-1400 hrs and the bathing time from 1000-1030 hrs and 1400-1430 hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river close by. We then proceed to KANDY.

NUWARA ELIYA means "city on the plain (table land)" or "city of light". The city is the administrative capital of Nuwara Eliya District with a picturesque landscape and temperate climate. It is at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft) and is considered to be the most important location for PIDURUTALAGALLA, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is known for its temperate, cool climate – tea production. The city is overlooked by the coolest area in Sri Lanka.
We will be depart Kandy today and head for NUWARA ELIYA enroute Ramboda.
According to the ancient stories, Ramboda is a area, where the forces of Rama's gather to fight against King Ravana. This temple was built by the Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka and dedicated to Hanuman. This temple houses for 16 feel height statue of Hanuman. We stop at RAMBODA pay our respects at the temple and continue to NUWARA ELIYA.
We will also visit Seetha Amman Temple. The kidnapping of Sita by Ravana (was King of Lanka) - meant that Ravana had to hide Sita in several locations.

Mangrove Boat ride in Madu River
Madu River or the Madu Ganga is one of the natures fascinating creations off South West coast in Balapitiya. Madu Ganga is a lagoon with hundreds of islands providing an idyllic setting for a well spent
holiday and loads of authentic traditional settings. It may be one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka. Enjoy the Mangrove boat ride and other water sports.
Turtle Hatchery :
The sea turtles are one of the rare species found in the world. Their heritage could be traced to more than 100 million years. The turtles get together in certain areas of the ocean annually to mate. The "Sea Turtle Farm & Hatchery" is a non - profitable organization which is maintained for the survival of Sea Turtles for the next generation. From the past, due to the cruel activities of humans, there is a danger that turtles are facing extinction . The center was started in 1986 and up until now has released more than 1,000,000 Sea Turtles to the ocean.
Bentota Water Sports :
Water sports in Bentota include a cruise on the river as well as other water sports activities such as water skiing, windsurfing, banana ride, wakeboarding, jet-skiing, tube rides, sea diving, snorkelling and surfing.
About 62 km south of Colombo, the city is graced by palm trees and a serene atmosphere. Located in the Southern Province, many tourists take in Bentota as a combined excursion with Beruwela.It is also a popular weekend getaway for many residents of Colombo. The local population is predominantly Singhalese Buddhist and he name of the city is taken from a mythical demon “Ben” who ruled the river banks or ‘tota’.

If time and traffic conditions permit we take a drive through the city of Colombo taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha, Gangarama temple and Independence Square.
